Welcome to the video description, ScreenRanters! If you’re unsure whether this video is worth your time, then let us convince you that it is! And then some! The Joker film is due to be released in October 2019. It’s set in 1981 and stars Joaquin Phoenix as the Clown Prince of Gotham. DC have told everyone that it’s not connected to the DCEU at all. But maybe they’re trying to put us off the scent. In reality, Phoenix’s Joker could be the foundation of the DC cinematic movement! Sounds implausible, we know. But we have some evidence that backs up this theory.
We’re going to take a look at how Phoenix’s and Jared Leto’s portrayals are actually connected. Even though they’re separated by nearly 35 years in their respective universes. We believe that Phoenix may actually appear in the next Batman film. Which of course, stars Robert Pattinson as the shadowy vigilante. Todd Phillips and Pattinson have both hinted in interviews that this could be the case as well. We take into account Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, the Suicide Squad, Gotham City Sirens, and the Birds Of Prey films to prove this wacky theory. Even using The Darkseid War from the comics as a possible idea on how it could all fit together. On top of that, we use the time periods of other films like Wonder Woman and its sequel as another concept. So, join us today as we give you a crazy theory that may just be true!
