Hey there scotty. I was recently gifted a brand new 2019 jeep renegade. Brand new, had 12 miles from test drive when I got in it. I know Jeeps arent particularly the best quality and technically the renegade is a fiat. But is this car worth keeping? I barely drive like 800 miles a month on a busy month. It's going to be a daily driver. The car has no 4x4 or anything like that.

      Our shop truck is a 2015 F-150 XLT. It's a 4X2 with the V6 Ecoboost I believe.

The two previous shop managers were lazy assholes who never kept up with anything. The truck was absolutely trashed. We did a ton of service on the truck, got her a new battery, cleaned her up.

She has 94,000 miles on her and the mechanic recommended a transmission fluid change. However the fleet company said since it hasn't been done before they won't authorize it. The mechanic was a little concerned that if the service isn't done it could cause more problems down the road. But the fleet company says changing the fluid could open up a "can of worms"

Anyone have any thoughts either way? Not sure how much longer we'll have the truck but it seems like an unnecessary wall put up to avoid paying for necessary service.

As a loyal toyota fan, I couldn't convince myself to spend 25 grand on a tundra. I ended up with a 2004 chevy Silverado with 158k. That was 5 years ago, my Silverado has around 210k original engine and transmission. Maintenance is the key. Sorry scotty. People purchase what you can afford and just maintain it.

This sob is talking about everything but the Chevy truck. He's a fuckin joke. Talking about trucks going down hill better look at the ford trucks. Gm trucks hold alot better resale value than ford trucks when they get older.

I remember my 05 Silverado awd SS and my 05 GMC Sierra 4.3l 5 speed. Both great trucks, both had the same exact problems... Aside from rolling over and driving into a tree, would be that evap crap. The interior would shake crack pop sqeek rattle and roll if you hit any washboards like in the ol late 90s blazer was the worst.

Today, I wouldn't buy one of their overpriced trucks that are not quality built anymore.

I have a 2004 Chevy Tahoe with 206k miles and it's still moving like a dream with regular maintenance. He's been knocking on GM his entire video career and I couldn't understand why because I never owned a post 2007 GM.
