They have found that having over $75,000 doesn't make you more happy. But I'm sure if you're living on the street and then you get a job making $50,000 a year you're a lot happier than when you were on the street. But a millionaire may not necessarily be happier than he/she was when they made $75-100,000 per year

damn, I thought I had a pretty good understanding of utilizing money and it's significance but after watching your video. I have wider understanding of the importance of money.

just saw a therapist who listened to me whine about my lack of motivation to earn a living at my normal day job and everything crashing in financially (due to my major unhappiness with my job of multiple unfulfilling decades, hardships with physically being able to do it, safety concerns in the job place and even job harassment and ageism issues)...and after my speel, this therapist told me to quit whining and get back to work. attitude IS everything and yet a wasted life is just sad

I really enjoyed this one Casey. I'd add one more twist...about taking a risk in life to move towards something you really want to do or try. Taking a leap of faith could possibly reintroduce the Money Problems which is scary. It feels very uncomfortable to leave the luxury of working on Life Problems knowing oh boy...this move might make me have to work on the Money problems again too. So you choose to stay "comfortable" to minimize pain. But instead, you should minimize those money problems/risks. Paying off debt, selling what you don't need, temporarily downgrading where you can to help give you a little more courage and freedom to jump.

I’m a broke college student and single mom, money is everything right now. Not stressing on money and shifting certain financial worries to other less important issues makes a person like me appreciate a good meal, because I’ve had to skip a few so that my kids had a full belly. The struggle is real, sacrifices are real!

I'm really not sure it's that simple. Money problems rarely cause people to commit suicide. Existential problems are a real killer. Doctors are far more likely to commit suicide than the rest of the population. It's an entirely different type of struggle and the counter to Casey's point would be; if you think existential issues can be solved by throwing money at them then you've never had serious existential problems.

You'll have more free time than the poor guy working two jobs to pursue happiness and love and all that stuff. You have the money to buy things that bring you joy or afford to have a cool hobby. You'll have more time than that poor guy to date. Since it takes off the burden of the money problems, you can focus most of your time on the life problems and therefore makes it much easier to tackle those.

It will even help solve SOME aspects of anxiety when you aren't worrying so much about affording things and/or paying bills. But money isn't the end-all, be-all and underlying mental health issues won't be solved with more money.
