I've been through your channel in the last two days, I was watching the medical cases you talked about in the videos and went through your older ones and found that you are like technology too..

I remember my first computer, in the 2000, cost us 500 JDs = 750 $..
small screen, very heavy case, the power supply was really loud, the keyboard was heavy (but I gotta admit it I spilled a lot of drinks on that keyboard and kept functioning perfectly, better than today's keyboards) 16mb screen card, win98, in general it was a very mediocre computer, but It was matching our needs totally, it is like our expanding needs what made technology evolve faster..
and it's true in the marketing scene, for example we don't buy the laundry machine, we buy the "laundry" the needs itself, we pay money for the value not the product itself..

                                    great channel, thank you

4:00 I like how he's ripping the piss out of CRT monitors, yet their colour accuracy is second to none, compared to flat screens. Just because it's old doesn't mean it's shit.

Talk about a blast from the past. I remember being in my late teens around this time and thinking all those specs were top of the line - because they were! lol. Really wish people kept their eye on innovation that much instead of now when most are obsessed with truth-mentality politics. IMO that has held back innovations more than anything else. It's no longer about how innovative you can be with the hardware, as it is how "diverse" and "woke" your PR is. smdh

It was top end. 20gig HDD, AMD Athlon cpu (can't recall size), 128mb memory, a kick-arse NVidia GeForce 64mb card and of course a DVD-rom, CD-writer and floppy drive. Big fucking 19 or 20 in CRT monitor in everyone's favourite shade grey-beige (greige). It cost me NZ$4900 and it was considered so fabulous that EA Games asked me if I wanted to beta test the new Sims game. NInety-nine others were also chosen. Wow, so funny thinking back to those days. I'd have a download manager running sixteen hours on 56.6k dial up to download photoshop. Warez was commonplace. Usenet/Newgroups is where you went to connect with like minded individuals.
