It's laughable how other players think they can shoot better when GS comes to town. They see Steph shoot just inside half court and they think they can do it too for some reason. They don't, of course, and lose even worse than they might have otherwise.

There may never be a shooter again as good as Curry.
But, I'm just crazy enough to think I could help many shoot like him. I even wrote a kindle book about the Perfect JumpShot to get you started in the right direction... find it, shoot better quickly.

I don't know how some people think Steph isn't responsible for teams shooting way more threes. Attempts literally doubled after he won his first mvp and then jumped again when he won again. Teams didn't just decide they were going to shoot more then randomly. It was because of him. The biggest jump in attempts was after he started being lethal.

Seriously? Pete Marovich played 10 years in the NBA, shot 44% and averaged 24 ppg. And the NBA didn’t have a three point line until his last season.

Curry has played 10 years with the Warriors and is 48% from the field and 44% from the three point line and avg 23.5 ppg.

Maravich scored 3,667 points in 3 years —1,138 of those in 1967-68, 1,148 in 1968-69, and 1,381 in 1969-70—while averaging 43.8, 44.2, and 44.5 points per game, respectively. For his collegiate career, the 6'5" (1.96 m) guard averaged 44.2 points per game in 83 contests and led the NCAA in scoring for each of his three seasons. Maravich still holds 11 NCAA records.

Curry scored 2,488 points in three years, however the NCAA had a shot clock and a three point line when Curry played.

dude is a bad brother no doubt. but i would say this. there will be shooters better than steph. just like he came after ray allen who surpassed reggie miller. heck, there was some little-known guy named dell curry. many times, especially when he played for toronto, i saw him release the orange and splash! most time his shot never even touched the rim. one guesses one result of that dell shooting prowess is what we see in steph. (whose brother is not a slouch either). there is steph's splash brother (obama joked that klay had a prettier shot, no matter). remember mahmoud abdul rauf? what about greg hodges. we are not even mentioning jj reddick, kyle korver and countless others. the point is steph and the many others have given are giving the next generation the formula to improve on. watch college players coming up now. they can shoot from further and with more accuracy. another thing. more than likely there will be another more prolific 3 point shooter than steph. kudos to whoever comes out and bests steph but that does not take away steph's legacy at the top of the heap. it is just the way it is. in sports and everything else in life. at that time some hack will come out and say, no-name's shooting abilities 'will never be seen again' in the nba. just my thoughts.

He's the guy who changed how to play the game. He change the defensive patterns or strategies of opposing teams. He's truly the best shooter for a long time to come if not ever. You have to be in front of him for him to miss his shot.

But as much greater emphasis and interest is now paid to 3-pt shooting, more youngsters will be developing that skill, and perchance we'll be seeing more Curry-like players emerge, if not exactly like Curry

Curry is the real game changer, cause look what he did everyone is shooting 3 right now from center to pg, shooting 3 steps behind 3 is now considered a good shot. Kareem Abdul Jabbar is the most unipreatiated superstar in the history of sports, his body of work speaks for itself.

This man create so much story in the NBA right now. It is even more exciting how the story will go when league get more deeper in the playoffs.
