I think it's funny how his user retention is pretty high up until the moment he usually mentions his sponsor in the video.

Has anyone commented that half the film was from Pyramiden further inland at the bottom of the fjord, at 79 deg north? That town now has four caretakers, since it is a town abandoned in 1998. They get money for preservation from norway. A nice excursion from Longyear.

Most of the information and pictures about a Soviet utopia on Svalbard is from the abandoned town of Pyramiden, that was also Russian, and not Barentsburg. Barentsburg was not the showcase town for the USSR

This is very, VERY INCORRECT. Barentsburg and Pyramiden are two different settlements in Svalbard. Pyramiden is abandoned. Pyramiden is the one with schools, pools, whatnot. Barentsburg is still running and is only a coal-mining settlement. nothing fancy there. Pyramiden on the other hand is a tourist attraction because of the very Soviet architecture and statues etc. it's also "cool" that it's a fully fledged town thats just abandoned. Find it odd that you've been there but don't know the difference. It's over 80km between the two settlements (by air.. no possible access by road)

"Russian occupation of Svalbard" - you just absolutely HAD to insert this russophobic bit at the end, didn't you? After all you said earlier, bringing forth arguments about Russians being there since at least the 16th century, buying the town from the Dutch, the russophobe in you finally came out.

The climate is always changing. Earth has been producing greenhouse gases for Billions of years. Human contribution to greenhouse gases is tiny, temporary, and now almost entirely caused by the greentards who protested nuclear energy. Space-based solar power is inevitably the future.

Why didn't you use the 2018-2019 ice map of the Arctic?? It's just as available as the 2012 map.

Did you use the 2012 to make your point "better"?? Why use an outdated map??
